Description

  • interlaced Ls enclosing date letter B for 1754-55, an indistinct letter and two dots inside the footrims, Wilfrid Evill Collection Label

  • cup 6.6cm., 2½in., saucer 13.9cm., 5½in.
the bleu lapis ground finely painted en camaïeu bleu with landscapes edged with gilded palms and flower sprays

Condition

There is a minute speck of gilding lacking to the gilded rim of the cup. The saucer has a few minor glaze scratches and a little rubbing to the blue enamels to the right of the tree on the left-hand side of the landscape.
