The hippopotamuses composed of carved bloodstone jasper with cabochon ruby eyes, measuring approximately 77.8 by 37.4 by 36.0 mm; carved bloodstone jasper with cabochon yellow glass eyes, measuring approximately 8.5 by 38.1 by 36.2 mm; carved rose-colored hardstone with cabochon onyx eyes, measuring approximately 54.7 by 41.5 by 24.6 mm.; carved transparent brown glass with cabochon glass eyes, measuring approximately 60.3 by 45.6 by 44.1 mm. signed L.H. Asprey.; carved streaked grey hardstone with simulated diamond eyes, signed Asprey; carved mottled green dendritic and white hardstone with cabochon yellow glass eyes, measuring approximately 65.3 by 58.1 by 56.8 mm.; carved striated brown hardstone with round ruby eyes, measuring approximately 63.3 by 26.1 by 30.3 mm; and carved patinated sterling silver with cabochon ruby eyes, measuring approximately 49.0 by 27.6 by 27.3 mm., signed Hancocks, London.

Condition

Bloodstone japser: faint surface breaking inclusions on nose under chin and on belly, overall good condition. bloodstone spotted with jasper feet: right back fott of yellow jasper has a large chip, surface breaking inclusions throughout. rose-colored hardstone: irregular shaped patch on bottom, some surface-breaking inclusions. Nice polish and good condition overall. trasparent brown glass: small chip on right front foot appears to be repair, engraved on bottom. streaked gray hardstone: 2 small single-cut simulated diamonds of yellow hue, eye clean overall very good condition, bottom engraved. Mottled gree dendritic: overall good condition. Straited brown hardstone: overall very good condition. Patinated Sterling: With english hallmarks and letter date for 1990, overall very good condition.
