Pair of Gold, Cabochon Emerald and Diamond Cufflinks and 18 Karat Gold and Diamond Studs, Cartier

The cufflinks set in the center with cabochon emeralds, framed by round and fancy-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 5.25 carats; the three studs set in the center with sugarloaf cabochon emeralds, studs signed Cartier Paris, maker's marks and French assay marks.

The emeralds are a rich slightly bluish green of medium tone and are well matched throughout the set. They have some inclusions visible under magnification, a few of which break the surface causing a few minor cavities and/or fissures. The emeralds in the cufflinks weigh a total of approximately 6.75 carats. The diamonds in the cufflinks appear to be G-I color and VS clarity, mounting permitting. The cufflinks are not signed, the studs are signed Cartier, Paris. In good overall condition with very little apparent wear. Athough not a matching set, the pieces may be worn together successfully. The studs are by Cartier, the cufflinks are not signed.
