- 18 karat gold, sapphire, case
The rectangular case composed of engine-turned gold set at the front with calibré-cut and square-cut sapphires, gross weight approximately 111 dwts., measuring approximately 4 by 3¼ by ½ inches, numbered 63014, French assay marks.
Condition
In good overall condition. Some wear and areas of slight tarnish consistent with the age of the box. The sapphires face up medium blue and are eye clean, they are well matched for color. One calibré-cut stone of narrow, triangular shape has a chip on the end. The inside of the box has some tarnish and light scratches.
