The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much brighter in the original.
Condition:
Surface dirt. A few small areas of craquelure in the upper half. A superficial horizontal scratch upper centre. Some areas of craquelure and cracks in the red in the lower half. Some scratches lower right.
A protruding dent in the lower right corner with associated craquelure.
No imperfections visible in the apple. Tiny scattered retouches in the white visible under U.V. light.
