Condition

Pile ranges from good, approximately 1/5th of an inch to low to knotheads; minor spot foundation in areas of minor moth damage in lower left corner and in fold wear areas in borders at around center. Oxidized dark browns, some with minor repiling. Some further scattered repiling. Scattered small spot stains, not extensive. Sides overcast, upper end with original flat woven finish folded under and sewn. Upper left corner with small loss, left side with small loss of selvage. Lower end with remnants of original flat woven finish. Flat woven in pile areas folded under and sewn. Supple handle, lustrous wool, good pile, good condition overall.
