Condition

Pile generally good, near original, closely shorn 1/10in throughout. Scattered minor visible warp ties. Partially rewoven end guard stripes. Later bound on all four sides, most edges also secured with binding stitch. Scattered spot stains; not extensive. Supple handle, lustrous wool, dense weave, good overall condition.
