Description

- approximately 3ft. 6in. by 2ft. 1in. (1.07 by 0.64m.) and 2ft. 10in. by 2ft. 1in. (0.86 by 0.64m.) (2)
Condition
3ft. 6in. by 2ft. 1in. Pile ranges from approximately 1/8 in to low to knotheads in areas of scattered foldwear. Oxidized dark browns. Cobbled repairs in lower right corner, and upper section of right border, with the larges reweave being approximately 2in by 3in in size. Sides with original six-cord wool selvages, now with some losses and scattered small areas of overcasting. Ends with some losses, now partially secured with later stitching. In good condition.
2ft.10in. by 2ft. 1in. Pile ranges from 1/8in to low to knotheads and spot foundation in areas of oxidized browns, some now repiled. Some further minor repiling. Small, 1in. by 1in. reweave at lower end of medallion. A few minor repaired holes. Sides with some losses and abrasions to partially overcast selvages. Ends with small losses, now secured with repiling and cloth tape sewn on reverse. A 2in. by 2in. reweave into upper end. Supple handle, good condition.
