Condition
The work is in good condition, as is the board, which is free from cracks or warping There are indications of wear and handling along the edges and margins, along with associated minute spots of paint losses (mostly found along the upper and right margins). The paint layers are otherwise well-preserved and are in stable condition. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals scattered minute spots of retouching in the background (sky and ground), as well as on the doves on the far left and the second from last. The painterly texture is expressed more beautifully in the actual painting. Framed.
