the lid painted en plein in the manner of Kotarbinsky with a brooding male angel in flowing mauve robes, maker's mark V.A or V.D (Cyrillic), 84 standard

Condition

The surface of the enamel has been lacquered, and there is an area of restoration to the upper right corner. Two dents to one corner; shallow dent to base. Scattered surface nicks and scratches consitent with age.
