  • length of etui: 12cm, 4 3/4 in.; width of charka: 7.4cm, 2 7/8 in.
the etui of upright oval section form, nielloed with an allegory of the meeting of Russia, England and Austria, inscribed in Russian: 'Union of Three Rulers', the reverse with Victory trophy, unidentified maker's mark I.O (Cyrillic, Postnikova-Losseva no. 2505), 84 standard; the charka with architectural vignettes on rayed grounds within scrolly cartouches, Ivan Mikhailov

Condition

The charka in excellent condition. The etui with minor wear to niello in small areas. There is possibly an old repair at the lid. The object is generally in very good order and attractive.
