of baluster form, one side nielloed with a roundel of the Bronze Horseman, the other with a courting couple, within scrolling foliage on stippled grounds, scroll handle, the domed lid with knop finial, maker's marks rubbed, possibly AA or KA, 84 standard, French import marks

Excellent condition, with very minor wear to gilding and niello, and very minor surface scratches.
