the halo and raised border of the oklad with polychrome geometric motifs, Christ within a cloison scroll and turquoise ground, the robes and halo with seed pearls, suspension loop, struck with workmaster's initials AO, 84 standard, the reverse with later silver plaque, also Ovchinnikov, inscribed in English and dated: 'God bless you!/ June - 1902/ from Serge', struck with maker's mark P.O (Cyrillic), 84 standard

There are some losses to the seed pearls and a tiny nick to the enamel to the right corner of the bottom frieze. The painting has a minor paint loss to the chin of Christ Pantocrator. The icons unexamined outside of the oklad.
