Description

in rococo taste, of baluster form, cast with rocaille scrolls and foliage, the front with a bullrush-framed cartouche below a putto, pierced scroll handles and foot, struck K.Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard, scratched inventory number 77(?)55

Condition

The putto is lacking the branch he previously held in his right hand. There is a separation at the join of the neck and body. There are a small number of shallow dents, nicks and scratches to the surface. Good weight, and crisply modelled.
