Description

  • height: 41,5cm, 16 3/8 in.
the body, lid and base cast with lobes within chased and engraved foliage, the stem cast as a woodsman climbing a tree, the finial as a warrior, struck with maker's mark BMO (Cyrillic) in a heart (Postnikova-Losseva no. 2262)

Condition

The finial has been broken and loosely re-attached. Minor dents to the lobes, as expected with age. Wear to the gilding.
