- widths: 10.5 and 10cm, 4 1/8 and 3 7/8 in.; diameter: 7.2cm, 2 7/8 in.
the first case with shaded cloisonné enamel foliage within blue dot borders, the interior engraved with German inscription 'In fond memory of Libau/ Helmsing Grimm/ Decbr 1900', struck with partial maker's mark _P (Cyrillic), 84 standard; the second with reeded surface, the lid applied with gold initials and names, struck with maker's mark DN (Cyrillic), possibly for Dmitri Nikolaev, 84 standard; the circular box with hinged lid bordered with trefoils within turquoise enamel, ribbon-tied reeded rims, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 10134, Swedish import marks
Condition
The first: there are minor losses to the enamel throughout.
The second: the striker is lacking otherwise in good overall condition consistent with age and use
The snuff box: the interior rim is slightly dented, otherwise in good condition consistent with age and use.
