Condition

The board is sound. There is some light abrasion to the edges of the work, resulting in minor areas of paintloss. There are fine lines of craquelure and paint shrinkage throughout. UV light reveals no apparent retouching. The paint surface has an uneven layer of vanish. There is a pigment which flouresces under UV light. Held in a gold painted moulded wood and plaster frame. There is a small damage to the frame on the left hand side. Unexamined out of frame.
