Condition
The canvas has been lined. There is a layer of surface dirt and the paint surface is slightly thin in places. There are some very minor pinholes to the surface in places and minor lines of craquelure. UV light reveals retouching to abrasion on each of the edges, a few minor flecks of retouching in the sky and a layer of discoloured varnish. Held in a simple gold frame. Unexamined out of frame.
