the first of oval pagoda form raised on a tray with bead-molded rim raised on dolphin supports; the other with rectangular case with domed top surmounted by a small domed cage with pagoda form cresting, the whole on splayed feet. 2 pieces.
Condition
The first height 21 in.; width 14 1/2 in.; depth 12 in. (53.3 cm; 36.8 cm; 30.5 cm); Overall good condition; decoration refreshed; some minor dents and some areas of chips to paint and with minor areas of rust and pitting. Sturdy.
The other in overall fair condition; the upper section slightly sagging into the lower section to one side; slight warpage in the bent bamboo supports to top and with bending to the metal bars; the internal horizontal metal wire bars to the domed top broken; sturdy; rusting to the metal bars; some losses and wear to ebonized surface; water stains to base.
