the serpentine top with pierced foliate and Gothic fretwork gallery above a pierced foilate apron raised on cluster-column legs joined by a cluster-colum X-form stretcher and ending in block feet. Restorations and alterations.

Condition
Fair restored condition; reduced in height; one short side to gallery replaced; the central part of one long gallery replaced approximately 8 inches in length; restorations to gallery; slight warpage and rippling to top and with small age crack to one side and with some inpainting around veneer; the pierced aprons and brackets appear to be later and with some old repairs and restorations; lacking two brackets to one short side; formerly fitted with casters; areas of old varnish and staining in places; the top with a glossy surface; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises; sturdy.
