each within giltwood frames, two of which with an old printed paper label inscribed Ellis & Smith / PRINT SELLERS, / Romney House, / 16 B GRAFTON STREET, / LONDON, / W. to the reverse; the first depicting a young couple with their son; the second depicting two women with a boy and a girl; the third a woman in a garden looking at an urn.  Losses, restorations.

Condition

Fair condition; the giltwood frames with losses and chips to gilding and with some areas of inpainting; the glass depicting the two women with a boy and a girl with losses and fading to green pigment of the trees and showing the backboards in places; the one depicting the woman looking at an urn with extensive losses to green pigment of leaves and with extensive inpainting which has discolored; each with small losses to blue banding and with some small losses in places and wear to the edges. NOT examined under UV light.
