Description

  • Eight Glass Vessels

  • heights from 2 3/4 to 5 in. 7 to 12.7 cm
comprising a blue green bottle with mold blown concentric circles on the body, a blue green unguentarium with pear shaped body, an amber glass bottle with pincered decoration on the globular body, an aquamarine jar with globular body and flaring neck, a greenish bottle with cellular pattern on the globular body, a blue green patella cup with wide flaring mouth, a green unguentarium with domed body, and a pale  blue green bowl with wide flaring mouth.

Sotheby's New York, June 8, 1994, lots 227 (Mozes S. Schupf Foundation), 479 (Mr. and Mrs. John J. Slocum, Newport, R.I.), 467, and 466 (two of three in the lot)

Condition

All intact except for the patella cup which has repairs and losses.
