- signed indistinctly Rom den 1 Aug and dated 1826 lower center and numbered 28 upper left
- watercolor and wash over pencil on paper. Together with English School, 19th Century, Head of a Child, signed with initals CFM and dated 7.68, pencil on paper with white heightening and brown chalk. 2 works.

Condition
The first: In generally good condition aside from light staining, dirt from handling along the edges and scattered pindots of foxing throughout, The work has been mounted at the four corners. Not examined out of frame.
The second: In generally good condition aside from surface dirt and light staining, evident especially along the left side. Scattered very small spots of foxing throughout the right side. Not examined out of the frame.
