Condition
The first: Study of a seated Lady: The sheet has been preserved and presented against acidic mouning card and paper. This should be removed as soon as possible and has resulted in staining to the sheet overall. There is surface dirt and scattered fox marks overall to both sides of the sheet. The sheet has suffered from previous water damage to the sheet edges. The sheet has also been carelessly removed from previous mounting resulting in damage to the verso of the sheet at the extreme edges. The pigments remain strong and clear and unhindered by the aforementioned defects.
