Condition

The first: Chatsworth from the West: The sheet has been carefully preserved and presented. The work is not been laid down. There is some minor surface dirt overall and there is minor staining at the sheet edges and the watercolor pigments may have faded slightly. The second: The Thames Estuary: This work has been carefully preserved and presented. The sheet is laid down. There is some staining to the sheet overall as a result of previous mounting against an acidic backboard. There is some surface dirt overall. The colour tones appear to have faded slightly overall.
