Condition
Overall distressed condition; later plugs to tops of stiles at join with cresting rail; extensive losses to gesso under-layer and to painted surface; painted frieze to cresting rail appears to be later painted; the rails with later plugs at joins with legs to stabilize; rails with later battens to reinforce the caning holes.
