Condition

The first: A Church Doorway: The sheet has been carefully preserved and presented. The work has not been laid down but has been attached to the mount along the sheet edges. There is a small tear, measuring 0.4 cm., at the lower right hand edge of the sheet. The colors have remained strong and fresh. The second: A Boy in the Pantry: The work has been carefully presented and preserved. This work may have been left unfinished. The sheet has not been laid down, it has been attached to the backboard at two points along the upper sheet edge. There is minor light fading overall however, the watercolor pigments have remained strong and clear.
