Catalogue Note

According to Gorham's records as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p.264, this footed salad bowl is listed as being completed on 17 March 1898 by and unknown craftsman with a  making time of fifty-five hours. The chasing was executed also by an unknown craftsman and was accomplished in eighty-five hours. The net factory cost was $188.00.
