Catalogue Note
Gorham's records as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p.185, note that Pitcher 1433 was completed on 11 February 1899. Although the identities of the maker and chaser are unknown, records indicate that the pitcher was raised in fifty hours and the chasing accomplished in seventy-five hours. The net factory cost was $200.00.
