Catalogue Note

Gorham's records as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p.363, this vase was completed on 24 October 1905 by Alexander MacBeth with a making time of thirty-five hours. The chasing was executed by George E. Germer and was accomplished in eighty-two hours. The net factory cost was $206.00.
