Catalogue Note
According to Gorham's records as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p. 443, Salad Bowl YGS was completed on 4 March 1912 by James Leckenby with a making time of fifty hours. The chasing was executed by Henry Brooks and was accomplished in fifty-one hours. The net factory cost was $168.75.
