Catalogue Note

Gorham's records as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p.279, indicates "Poppy" pitcher BSX was completed on 28 August 1913 with a making time of forty-eight hours, possibly by F.O. Erichsen and Frederick J. Buxton Sr. The chasing was executed by Henry Brooks and was accomplished in forty-four hours. The net factory cost was $135.00.
