Condition

There are two metal pins holding the foot to the base, visible inside the base of the vase and on the exterior sides of the foot. The underside of the foot is partially filled with plaster, which conceils how it's pinned. It is possible that the pins are original to the vase. There is a crack, which has run from one pin on the foot, extending approximately half way around and across the top of the foot. This section is loose and may have detached. There is a half-inch chip to the underside of the top edge of the base. There are several very minor chips to the edge of the foot. There is some wear and flaking to the gilding overall. Cover is lacking.
