Description

  • Silver-gilt
  • height 12 1/2 in.
  • 31.7cm
rectangular, with border of running acorns and twigs, the center with ribbed Gothic tracery scrolls radiating from a roundel pierced to match, also set with two shields, one enclosing the Rothschild crest, the hinged shelf mounted with small creatures, collapsible stand topped with an angel and terminating in a claw foot
