- diameter of basin 12 1/2 in., height of ewer 13 1/2 in.

the ewer of inverted pear form applied with a girdle of columns and swans and a cypher EB, the lower body applied with stiff leaves above the screw-on foot, collar of anthemia and full-faced female masks, handle formed as a winged twin-tailed melusine holding grapes, circular basin with everted rim also applied with swans flanking medallions of classical profiles and a cupid on a barge, matching cypher

dome dings to one side of basin under rim, tiny patch were gilding removed underneath basin, otherwise good condition
