Drypoint and etching, 1879-80, from the First Venice set, a fine impression of the fourth state (of seven), printed with a rich veil of atmospheric tone in the foreground, signed in pencil with a butterfly on the tab and inscribed 'imp', from the First Venice Set, published by the Fine Art Society, London, on laid paper, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition, faint light-stain visible just inside the platemarks of the image, scattered rust marks predominantly contained to the upper margin with a few in the upper left corner of image. The verso with a band of pale mat stain at center.
