Condition
This very decorative sofa is generally in very good condition. The surface finish or varnish is possibly later, but good. There is evidence of worm to the piece and some rubbing to carved decoration. The reverse has some minor repairs, which include filler and some small sections of replaced timber. The drawers are good but the carcase of each has been rebuilt and has new base panels but both work well and are in good order. The interior carcase exhibits signs of consolidation as to be expected. The upholstery is good.
