Description

- 189cm. high, 134cm. wide, 54cm. deep; 6ft.2½in., 4ft.4¾in., 1ft.9¼in.
the two doors applied with parcel-gilt husks flowerheads and ebonised intersecting arches, each door inset with a black and white engraving of a coat-of-arms one inscribed Herr Aegit Reichlin Frei Herr von Meldego, the other Herr Sigmund Huber Frei Herr von Maur, enclosing three later shelves
Condition
Of solid construction. There are some minor losses to the chequered inlay running along the cornice. There are some losses to the dentils on the cornice. The piece has a notable 'cut' centred to the cornice and base, to allow for dismantling. The later inset prints are good. Minor losses to applied giltwood ornament. There are later stained pine shelves to the interior. The are traces of worm to the backing boards.
