  • the majority signed with the monograms AMB, MB or GMB, one signed A.M. Borbone, many dated between 1852 and 1857
  • fifthy-eight, the majority watercolour and bodycolour over pencil
  • 58
including views of Amalfi; Roman ruins; Mount Vesuvius (9); the bay of Naples; and others; bound in an embossed brown leather album  

Condition

The watercolours in this album have been well preserved. The colours are strong in each case and the pigments have not faded. On several of the watercolours minor foxing is evident.
