the sliding screen embroidered with silk flowers, the reverse with a hinged gilt-bronze banded shelf inlaid with floral marquetry
Condition
Decorative. There are losses to the finials of the top rail. The frame is slightly warped. There are losses to veneers, notably to the base where there are signs of repair. The silk panels are tired and there is some distress to the needlework foliate motifs. The gilt-metal mounts are tarnished. There are some signs of minor repair to the drop down marquetry tray.
