Description

  • 33cm, 13in long
the guards and sticks pierced, carved and gilded in three colours with children in leafy rocaille scrolls, the paper leaf painted with Boors carousing after Denis Teniers the Younger (1610-1690), signed H. Bach, Madrid, in a gilt wood frame labelled in German "The property of Her Highness Archduchess Marie Anne"

Condition

one guard split and leaf ligting and split there, the leaf on opposite side split on 7cm. very minor losses along folds.
