Condition

Unexamined out of frame and under glass, there is some time-staining of the board, scattered foxing, and light surface dirt, with some water staining along the lower-left edge, with a small area below the girl's knee. Held in a wide, decorative wood and gold-painted plaster frame.

Catalogue Note

Princess Zita (1892 – 1989) and Prince Felix (1893 – 1970) were the children from Duke Robert I of Parma's second marriage to Infanta Maria Antónia of Portugal. Zita later married Emperor Charles I of Austria (1887-1922) and Felix married Charlotte, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg (1896 – 1985).
