Condition
This photograph, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally good condition. Age-appropriate silvering is visible overall. Upon close examination and in raking light, the following are visible: a 2-inch linear scratch that appears to break the emulsion in the upper left corner of the image; a 1/2-inch crease near the lower edge of the image that extends into the margin; and a pin-point-sized loss of emulsion in the lower left quadrant of the image. There is edge chipping at the periphery and a small loss to the lower right margin corner.
This photograph was acquired by the present owner from Brett Weston, who indicated that it was printed in 1954. This print appears to fluoresce faintly when examined under ultra-violet light.
