2 photographs, comprising Geranuk and Elephant Reaching for the last branch on a tree, Kenya, each signed, inscribed, and dated in ink on the image, framed, 1960 and 1965, both probably printed in 1983 (2)
Condition
These photographs are in generally very good to excellent condition. The inscriptions and signatures are faded. In high raking light, a few small handling creases are visible. The prints are tipped to mounts at their upper corners. On the reverse of the prints, there are areas of light coffee-colored discoloration.
Elephant reaching for the last branch on a tree, Kenya - The photograph is inscribed in blue ink: 'To Shawn [Well Sean]: with high hopes as ever & lofty Salutations and all Best wishes from ele-ville, Peter (Beard) - april '83'
Geranuk - The photograph is inscribed in green ink: 'To the well Shawn, Sean! from shagbogsity / keep growing U - & "may Heaven's choicest Blessings be showered upon you" / warmest regs. Peter B. 4/20/83.'
