Condition

These prints have not been examined out of their frames. Giraffes in Mirage on the Taru Desert, Kenya - This print is inscribed 'to Sean 3-15-96 nyc,' and annotated 'at the hand of man' and '--last words from Rungsted in Spring 1962 DK' in blue ink. A picture of cheetahs is collaged on the image. Extensive blood, doodles, 2 footprints, a feather, and quotations by Karen Blixen's 'Out of Africa' and Beard's 'The End of the Game' are visible in the negative. A very small crease is visible in the lower left quadrant of the image. Three Print Collage - The reprographic prints include Karen Blixen, Self-Portrait with Alligator ('I'll Write Whenever I Can'), and Geranuk. The collage, mounted together on unevenly trimmed cardboard, is inscribed '2 Sean St. Patricks Day,' dated, and annotated 'The Time is Always Now' and 'this is Karen Blixen country' in red and white ink on the image and mount. Red and white ink work and collaged reprographic photographs are on the image and mount. The surface of the prints is uneven, likely from the glue and ink used by the photographer in the creation of the work.
