Condition

This early print, slightly warm-toned and on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally very good to excellent condition. As is typical of Woodman's early photographs, the margins are substantial. In high raking light, there is a small indentation in the area of the subject's upper right arm. There are two small gray areas, likely of stray exposure, in the lower left and right margins. There is also a blue deposit of indeterminate nature, possibly ink, near the lower right margin edge. The corners are slightly bumped, and the lower right corner is creased. There are two sharp handling creases in the lower margin, and a small tear (about 1/4-inch) at the lower edge.
