- 'CUZCO CHILDREN, PERU, DECEMBER 1948'

selenium-toned, mounted, signed, titled, dated, and annotated in ink and stamped on the reverse, 1948, printed in 1984, one in an edition of 30 (Moments Preserved, pp. 98-99)
Condition
This photograph, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, a number of small, soft creases are visible, which likely occurred prior to or during the dry-mounting process. Visible in the lower left corner is a one-inch diagonal scratch that does not appear to break the emulsion. The upper and lower left edges of the print are slightly rubbed. None of these disturbances detract from the overall fine quality of this print.
The lower mount corners are bumped and there are a few faint fingerprints near the edges on the front. On the reverse of the mount are the photographer's copyright, credit, edition, and Condé Nast stamps, dated '1960' in ink. 'REF. 9005' is annotated in ink on the reverse.
