  • deux étuis à cire en or de trois tons, Paris, 1787
  • three colour gold
  • 13 et 12 cm ; 5 1/8 et 4 3/4 in, avec pochettes modernes en daim
chacun orné de grains et étoiles sur un fond strié, ceint de bordures d'or de couleur ciselées de guirlandes, le premier converti en étui à rouge à lèvres, avec une matrice P gravée posterieurement, poinçon de Toussaint-François Pillieux;  le second en un briquet, aussi gravé postérieurement d'un monogramme, poinçon de Barthélemy Pillieux





each scattered with pellets and stars on a reeded ground within chased coloured gold garland borders, the first converted into a lipstick holder, later engraved matrix with stylised P, maker's mark of Toussaint-François Pillieux; the second converted into a cigarette lighter, the matrix later engraved with a monogram, maker's mark of Barthélemy Pillieux
