les brins repercés et sculptés, peints, argentés et dorés de personnages chinois et de fleurs, enrichis de burgau, la feuille peinte de Chinoise aux vêtements en soie, également repercée de deux fenêtres en mica, le verso peint d'un bouquet de fleurs


the sticks and guards pierced and carved, painted, silvered and gilded with Chinese figures and flowers, the sticks further enriched with burgau, the leaf painted with Chinese figures with applied silk and foil clothes, the leaf pierced with two mica windows, the reverse painted with a floral spray

Condition

Sticks and guards: a certain amount of rubbing of all hilights, the silver decoration oxydises. First stick on right replaced (reverse of the leaf with restoration patch), 7th stick from right strenghtened, possibly contemporary. Leaf: time stained and foxed on reverse, foil used for clothes, lifted with minor losses and tarnished, one mica panel cracked, the other one with crazing.
