Condition
Overall the condition of the ivory is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age with an area of small stains to the proper right shoulder. There is some stable splitting consistent with material including an area running from the top of the head, along the proper right side of the face and neck and the along back of the truncation and on the left side and centre of the torso. There are some naturally occurring irregularities visible at the reverse. A small pin to plug the root canal is at the proper left hand of the centaur on the right side of the helmet.
The condition of the base is good.
